Meet Lourdes and Pete Sliwa
Real estate here is not a market I studied from a desk. It is my neighborhood.
The short version of a long story
I have lived on Tortoise Island for more than 20 years. The water I talk about with buyers is the water I look at every morning, boat on every weekend, and the streets I sell on are the ones I drive every day. When I help someone move to the Space Coast, or sell the home they raised a family in, I am talking about the place I know and love best in the world.
In more than 18 years in real estate, I have sold more than 350 homes, more than $180 million worth, including around 250 across Satellite Beach and Indian Harbour Beach and 50 on Tortoise Island, where I live. Numbers like that come from staying in one place long enough to truly know it, and from treating every client like someone I will run into at the store next week, because usually I will.
Before real estate, I earned an accounting degree and worked as a pharmaceutical rep. That mix is probably why I care about two things at once: getting the numbers exactly right, and marketing a home so the right buyers see it.
How we work, and why people remember it
What matters most to me is doing right by people, even when that means saying something they did not want to hear. I will tell you when a house is not the one. I will tell you when a repair is not worth the money. I walk my clients through the whole transaction, because buying or selling a home is one of the largest moves most people ever make, and it should not feel lonely or confusing.
That is also why we handle so much of it for you. When a home is getting ready to sell, we manage the work rather than handing you a list and wishing you luck. I coordinate the contractors for repairs and updates, before listing or after an inspection, and we take care of the staging and the marketing in house. You are not left to figure out the hard parts alone. We do them with you.
Pete
My husband Pete is a full partner in this, not a name on a card. He is an agent and branch manager alongside me, and he works every transaction. Pete has an accounting degree too, and he built his career in medical supplies sales before joining me full time. He brings that with him every day: a calm, steady presence and sharp negotiation when a deal gets tense. Clients tell us the pairing works, my read on the market and the marketing, his read on people and the negotiation.
The team behind us
The two of us are supported by a small team that keeps everything moving, including a marketing specialist, a listing coordinator, and a transaction coordinator, so nothing slips between contract and closing. You always know who you are working with, and you are never passed off to a stranger.
Beyond the sale
Pete and I have called the Space Coast home for more than 30 years, and we are part of it well beyond real estate. We are members of the Eau Gallie Yacht Club, proud supporters of Brevard Public Schools and local charities, and we are very involved with the Brevard Symphony Orchestra and the South Guild. We have been married 25 years, and when we are not with clients, you will usually find us out on the river with friends, family, or our dogs.
We opened the local branch of Avanti Way Realty, a brokerage that stays ahead on technology. For you, that means modern marketing, sharper pricing data working in the background, and clear transparency during the transaction. That part is the engine. The guidance stays personal, and it always comes from the two of us.
If you are thinking about a move on the Space Coast, whether you are coming from out of state, buying on the water, or getting ready to sell, we would love to help.
